Sound familiar?

If month-end goes like this, the template is for you.

Your WIP is the earliest honest read you get on the year, but only if you can trust it.

What's on the page

Four answers, on one screen.

Enter your jobs the way you already do: contract value, costs to date, estimated cost at completion, billings to date. The page does the rest.

Over/under billings

See which jobs are carrying the cash and which ones are being financed by you, before the bank or the bonding agent points it out.

MTD & YTD revenue and profit

Earned revenue and gross profit for the month and the year, so the number you take into the ops meeting is the same one that hits the P&L.

Projected end of year revenue

Where the year lands if the jobs you have run the way you expect. Ask it in August instead of finding out in December.

Backlog, this year and next

What is still to be earned, split across the current year and future years, so hiring and equipment decisions have a number behind them.

Before you fill it in

The short answers.

What exactly do I get?

One Excel file with a one-page WIP schedule. No add-ins, no macros to approve, no account to create. It arrives by email as soon as you submit the form.

Will someone call me?

Only if you ask. The form has an optional box for a 30-minute call with Adam to talk through your WIP. Leave it unchecked and you get the template and nothing else.

Does it connect to my accounting system?

No. It's a standalone Excel file, so it works no matter what you run on. You enter job data the same way you do today. If the goal is to stop entering it by hand, that's a different conversation. See below.

Can I share it with my team?

Yes. Send it around, rename it, rebuild it in your own format. It's yours.

What happens to my email address?

We use it to send the template and the occasional note about construction finance reporting. We don't sell or share it, and one click unsubscribes you for good.

Your data should help you

Analyze the business, not paralyze you.

A template fixes the page. It doesn't fix where the numbers come from: the systems that go stale without warning, the Power BI whiz kid who took the next job, the report everyone wants but not everyone should see.

Data lakes solve big data problems. Yours is simpler: numbers you can trust, every month.
